Library Mouse

Daniel Kirk has crafted one of the most delightful books of all times, an homage to all book lovers, both readers and writers and/or illustrators alike.

It all begins with a library mouse called Sam. Unlike most of his kin, he’s a literate mouse, an extremely bright and irresistibly cute one. At night, when the library is closed, he leaves his little whole in the wall and reads all the books he wants. Things get even more exciting when, after being fed with so many volumes of all sorts, his imagination overflows and he decides to write his very own books.

Every bit of this book, from the first word to the last illustration, is delicious and sublime! Daniel excels in both areas, creating a feast for the soul, which fills the heart with warmth and glee. The beautifully designed scenes transport you to the coziest of libraries, one where anyone would be more than pleased to visit - and even live in!

The twist ending is uplifting and surprising. It’s so inspiring that it’ll make everyone want to become a part of the story!

There’s no way not to fall in love with Sam and his wonderful library!
